Crysis Model 3

"A stubborn and anti-social person need not be two different people. More, one person following two different paths, of wealth and purity, to reach the same destination."

Just inquiring as to whether my updated electroliquid aggregation is suitable to my mass and terrain. Also, wondering if I have too much detail elements that clutter the terrain. Having some troubles working particles, but will flatten them out.

  1. benjamin, the electroliquid aggregation is very evocative and the model is starting to reflect this. But be REALLY careful. The geometries have to be "interconnected" rather than exist as two separate masses. Think of how you can manipulate your rectangle(s) to be interconnected, or express a fragile and almost invisible interconnection, or manifest themselves with the meeting space/lake.

The landform is working well with the model, but i think you are rather lacking a bit in detail which you should think more in terms of "elements" (openings, stairs, ramps, balustrades etc if important).

Re: first image, the square is starting to show is this intentional?

  2. Maybe use the Smooth Tool to modify that cute and pointed hills would be a good idea~:)

  4. Thanks a lot! I'll modify the sketchup model such that they are one (most likely my main task) and add some smaller detail elements to define paths taken by the two. And the square was intentional (I like things if they... fit).

Thanks Keyan! They were intentional, but probably over exaggerated (more understandable when in the game engine). I will modify them.
